WFC v2.0

Webtech Fleet Center v2.0 was released on October 5th, 2015. This release includes Advanced Report scheduling, the Webtech Connector SDK (Software Development Kit), controller alerts, and various user interface enhancements.

Features available to all customers:

ADVANCED REPORT SCHEDULER

Ensure stakeholders always have timely fleet performance metrics and business intelligence data. Advanced Report scheduling saves time and effort: set up the right reports once and let WFC take care of the rest!

Scheduled reports are emailed to specified recipients in PDF or Excel format at regular intervals (daily, weekly, or monthly). The scheduling feature currently supports the Advanced Fleet Activity Summary and Advanced Stop History reports:

OPTIMIZED VEHICLE DATA BALLOON

Easily identify important vehicle status details and access vehicle-specific features directly from the map.

Optimized vehicle balloons with greater readability and efficient sizing make more of the map visible. A re-positioned toolbar offers improved usability.

VEHICLE ADMINISTRATION NEW FEATURE: ALIAS

Tag vehicle icons with custom names for quick recognition on the map.

In Vehicle Administration, a new vehicle alias (display name) optionally replaces the full vehicle name in the icon label.

DRIVER LANDMARK CREATION

Improve efficiency and convenience by capturing Landmarks directly from drivers at locations of interest such as depots or customer sites, without requiring assistance from someone in the office.

Drivers can now create Landmarks on their MDT (Mobile Data Terminal) with a digital form. Webtech Fleet Center tracks the amount of time vehicles spend at each Landmark.

Features available upon request:

CONNECT WEBTECH TO YOUR OWN BUSINESS SYSTEMS

Feed AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) data to business systems of your choice for further processing and analysis.

Use the Webtech Connector SDK (Software Development Kit) to retrieve the latest vehicle location details (including optional winter operations data) through a standardized, self-contained interface.

CONTROLLER ALERTS

Make better fleet deployment, materials management, safety, and maintenance decisions based on live notification and specific, actionable data from your vehicles. Monitor vehicle speed, equipment status, and road conditions as materials are applied, and know immediately when vehicles operate outside predefined limits during winter weather events.

Assign controller alerts based on the amount and rate of materials used by spreaders. The alerts can include road/air temperature thresholds and a vehicle speed condition. Triggered alerts display on the map as colour-coded vehicle labels, appear in key performance data snapshots, and are available for download and further analysis.
